I cooked and made friends!
I was traveling solo and thought this class would be a nice way to meet people. It was perfect. I got paired with another solo traveler to make the dessert, and we chatted the whole time. The chefs made sure everyone joined in, so nobody felt left out. We enjoyed talking while chopping, compared how we cook at home, and even shared travel tips during a break. When we finally sat down to eat, it felt more like a dinner with friends than a class. Great, fun activity - highly recommend!
Cooking class in Málaga that is worth the money!
During our holiday in Spain, we enjoyed a lot of Spanish food in restaurants and tapas bars, but we always wanted to try making paella ourselves. This class was the perfect opportunity. Both chefs were friendly and patient, guiding us step by step. My husband worked on the ajoblanco soup while I focused on the paella. We had a good laugh trying to get the seasoning just right, and the sangria made it even more fun. Hopefully, we’ll manage to make paella this good at home! Overall, it was a lovely experience in Málaga and definitely worth the money.

Did you know?
Authentic paella was originally made with rabbit, chicken, and even snails, not seafood. The seafood version (paella de marisco) came later and became popular with tourists. The original Valencian recipe was a rustic dish cooked over an open fire. Locals used whatever ingredients they could find in the countryside.
